Congratulations to student Sarah McBride on recently qualifying for the Special Olympics athletics and for winning an SCC student bursary award. The Niall Smyth Memorial Bursary scheme which benefits approximately 20 students each year is there to assist CDETB students to achieve their potential in their particular Sporting or Cultural endeavours.
The TLA/PUA and the Employment Skills Classes yesterday had a really great day at the Lighthouse Cinema to see An Cailin Ciuin. Everyone interacted really well with each at the lunch afterwards and then on the afternoon trip to the Seamus Heaney Exhibition.
